Packer needed for Bakery

We are seeking hard working and reliable individuals to join our clients packing team in part time and full time roles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately picking baked goods for packing
  • Labelling of boxes/crates
  • Clean down of work area at end of shift
  • Perform duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labelling and sorting
  • Operating the bread slicing machine
  • Checking items against the invoice and manifest
  • Complete manifest documentation
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety procedures
  • Perform related duties as required by the supervisor

To be considered, you need to demonstrate:

  • motivation to work hard and meet packing targets
  • exceptional attention to detail
  • accountability for your work
  • excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • ability to work well within a team environment
  • reliablity and flexibility, willing to work extra shifts when required
  • Reliable transport to get to and from work

Experience in a food production facility with previous hand packing experience preferred but not essential.
