We are seeking positive, hard-working Catering Attendants to join our clients Food Services team.
There are multiple casual and full-time positions available, over a flexible seven day roster that includes days, evenings and weekends.
As a Catering Attendant, you will assist the Chef with meal service in the kitchen and have responsibility for taking patient menus, delivering and collecting all patient meal trays, washing up and stocking up after each meal service and assisting in the preparation of patient beverages for special dietary needs as directed by the hospital Dietician or relevant Manager.
You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the department in line with required food safety, infection control and hospital standards, while offering high standard of quality and service to patients and customers.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent attention to detail and work effectively in a team environment or independently as required. Your ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and your excellent time management skills will be key to succeeding in this fast paced environment.
You will also bring:
Previous experience in a busy kitchen or hospital kitchen environment
Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
